What can you expect during the healing of a new piercing?
Healing may vary by client however in most cases:
- Immediately after you’ll experience slight redness and inflammation.
- No swimming for 2 weeks, after 2 weeks use a waterproof bandage up until 8 weeks.
- Earlobes heal time approx. 6-8 weeks.
- Ear cartilage heal time approx. 2-4 months.
- Nostril heal time approx. 2-8 months.
Aftercare Recommendations
- Gently rinse the area once a day with water
- Clean with aftercare once a day.
- We recommend changing bed sheets and pillowcases often during healing.
- It is recommended to not switch the jewelry until the complete healing time frame given.
